Named for the “hook-shaped” pommel at the heel of the handle, this one of a kind 13 layer ladder pattern Damascus blade of 1080 / 15n20 carbon steel is a handful of beauty. At 10.5 inches overall the 6” blade is hand-rubbed to 1000 grit, polished and incorporates a thumb stop for peerless grip even when wet. The pattern is visible all around the spine and belly of the blade. The handle scales are contoured Amboyna burl with brass pins, the sheath is 7 oz. vegetable-tanned leather with a belt loop.
